Camp 1155

Welcome to Camp 1155

In 1963, two avid anglers discovered a fisherman's paradise on the shores of a remote lake in Labrador. The following year they began building what would become Camp 1155, named for its elevation above sea level. Today Camp 1155 offers peaceful respite from the stresses and strains of modern living. Visitors have an opportunity to fish for the magnificent Labrador Brook Trout and Northern Pike, to canoe in solitude and commune with nature or share the companionship of like-minded friends. Above all, Camp 1155 is a place to recharge your spiritual batteries and build life-long memories.

The camp is set in a pristine wilderness, surrounded by the waters of the Eagle River system. It is staffed by two knowledgeable licensed guides. Guests stay in the main cabin which accommodates six people and also provides eating and cooking facilities.
